As market researchers, we handle sensitive data on a daily basis and are thus keenly aware of our responsibility to treat such information with the utmost care and confidentiality. That applies to data that our customers entrust to us, as well as information about our respondents and the resulting survey data.
When conducting our market research, we comply with all relevant data protection laws and guidelines. In addition, as members of the Arbeitskreis Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforschungsinstitute (ADM / Federation of German Market and Social Research Institutes) we are bound by a number of additional national and international codes of professional conduct relating specifically to the protection of personal data.
A key requirement of market and social research is that answers are analysed in such a way that the respondent’s right to anonymity is respected. Unlike direct marketing methods (cold calling, telesales), the survey data received by our customers is always anonymous and never linked to the name of the respondents. Personal data is likewise never sold or rented to third parties or exchanged with them.
