Join us in September for our 9th Innovation Breakfast in Hamburg, and learn from our guest speaker Étienne Bressoud of BVA and NudgeFrance how Nudge and Behavioural Economics work, how to effectively create nudges based on behavioural sciences, and how to apply this knowledge successfully in your day-to-day business.

About Nudge
The concept of Nudge (or ‘nudging’) stems from Behavioural Economics and has revolutionised the understanding of people’s decision-making processes. Gaining a better grasp of the ways people make decisions (both consciously and unconsciously) allows one to guide their behaviour in a predictable direction or even modify consumers’ behaviour in the way you wish, simply by using nudges – a system of light encouragements.

 

 

About Étienne Bressoud
Étienne Bressoud is a true authority in his field. He started to study consumer behaviour during his PhD dissertation at Paris Sorbonne University. As a Marketing Professor at Paris 8 University, he published several papers in international academic reviews. In 2011, he joined BVA, a Market Research Company, where he participated to the creation of the BVA Nudge Unit, a team dedicated to Behaviour Change and applied Behavioral Economics. He is currently the manager of this team. Passionate about Nudge, Étienne is also co-founder of NudgeFrance, an association promoting the use of Nudge to improve French public policies.

We are looking forward to Bressoud’s exciting demonstration including case studies of nudges successfully implemented by clients from public and private sectors. He will provide you with a hands-on understanding of how “Nudges” can bring about significant changes in behaviour most effectively, which aspects of this concept are most relevant to you, and how you may apply this knowledge in your day-to-day work; also with regard to general design and methodology issues.

About Heiner Junker
Heiner Junker is Managing Partner at Produkt + Markt and Head of Product Development. He looks back on more than 20 years in market research experience. Heiner specialises in qualitatively-driven work, although is equally comfortable with integrated approaches – on both a national and international scale. Particular areas of interest are brand consultancy, innovation, customer experiences as well as organisational change projects.
Heiner Junker is certified facilitator for Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving and trainer and consulter for companies and organisations.
