To believe or not to believe?
The current state of religion in the world
Is the world renouncing its faith? According to an international survey by WIN, approximately two thirds of the 63.898 participants from 65 countries have stated to be religious. In contrast, only one third of the German population claimed to be the latter.
In worldwide comparison, the people of Africa and the Middle East are the most religious, while apparently an approximately equal number of believers and atheists can be found in Western Europe and Oceania.
